HTET Syllabus 2019 for PRT, TGT, PGT (Level 1, 2, 3): All Subjects


HTET Syllabus 2019: HTET stands for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test which is conducted by Haryana Board of School Education every year. Here you will able to check Haryana TET syllabus 2019, exam pattern, passing marks, references of some important books and some qualifying tips.

Haryana TET Syllabus and exam pattern are given here for Level 1 (PRT), Level 2 (TGT) and  Level 3 (PRT). You can check for the level for which you are preparing.

1) Level 1 Syllabus (Primary Teacher)

Paper 1 or Level 1 examination is divided into five sections according to teaching requirement for classes I to V. The following sections are:

Each section contains 30 questions of 1 marks each. The total number of questions and maximum marks is 150. There is no negative marking in the Level 1 examination.

HTET Level 1 Syllabus

Child Development and Pedagogy: Educational Psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 6-11 years.
Language: 15-15 questions are asked form Hindi and English languages. Which include two unseen passages from both languages. Other question will be asked from the grammatical portion.
General Studies: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Haryana G.K. and Awareness Language will focus on the elements of Mental and Reasoning ability and General Knowledge regarding Haryana State.
Mathematics: Questions like Geometry, Shapes & Spatial Understanding, Solids around us, Numbers, Addition and Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Measurement, Weight, Time, Volume, Data Handling, Patterns and Money.
Environmental Studies: Questions like Family and Friends (Relationships, Work and Play, Animals, Plants), Food, Shelter, Water, Travel, Things we Make and Do.

2) Level 2 Syllabus (Trained Graduate Teacher)

Level 2 examination is divided into four sections according to current teaching requirement for classes VI to VIII. The scheme of the examination is given below:

HTET Level 2 TGT Syllabus

(C) Level 3 Syllabus (Post Graduate Teacher)

Subject Specified as Opted: There will be 60 MCQs from the subject opted from the given subjects below.

HTET Passing Marks & Validity

Candidates can check qualifying/Passing marks for Haryana TET Level 1 (PRT), Level 2 (TGT) and level 3 (PGT).

For unreserved category and candidates from other states then Haryana have to score at least 90 (60%) marks. Candidates form Haryana Schedule cast and Person with disability have to score at least 82 (55%) Marks to qualify this examination.

Validity Period

The HTET Validity Period is five years from the declaration date of the result.
