HPSSSB Exam Pattern 2018

1. Screening Test / Written Exam Pattern

The objective type screening test pattern is the same for all posts that are released by Hamirpur Selection board. The exam pattern follows as the total of 170 questions.

HPSSSB Selection Process 2018

The whole selection process that followed by HPSSSB is given below in 5 steps. Let's start with the first step of selection.

1. Screening Test/ Written Exam

The first step of selection for all HPSSSB posts start with Written Exam or Screening Test of 85 Marks. Those who qualify the written exam goes for next step Skill test (if required ) or evaluation of 15 marks of Interview/Listed Schedule.

For Example: If the total number of posts are 100 then top 500 candidates of written exam will go for skill test (if required), otherwise top 300 candidates direct goes for Interview (Class I & II posts) or Listed Schedule (Class III & IV posts) of 15 marks.

2. Skill / Physical Test (Not Required for All Posts)

Skill Test like Typing Test, Physical Test (for Sub-Inspector) that depends upon the nature of the post and not required for all posts. Skill Test/ Physical test will be qualifying in nature.

3. Interview/Evaluation of 15 marks

The 15 marks interview will only applicable for class I & II posts. For class III & IV 15 marks will be evaluated on the basis of government listed schedule that is given below.

4. Documentation and Evaluation of 15 Marks

The evaluation of 15 marks that are listed above is done by the board during on the documentation. Documentation also includes checking and validation of certificates of 10th, +2 or other minimum qualification required for the specific post. After calculating 15 marks on the basis of listed points above, a final merit list is prepared by Hamirpur Selection board out of 100 marks (Written Test Marks + Out of 15 Marks).

5. Final Merit List and Call letter/Posting

Those candidates who are selected in the final merit list get direct posting on the job. If any candidate does not join or left the job, then the selection will be made according to the waiting list up to 1 year.
