SSC CHSL Syllabus 2018 for all aspirants who are preparing for SSC CHSL 2017-18. As we all know that SSC has released the notification of CHSL exam 2018. SSC CHSL Syllabus 2018

The SSC CHSL whole syllabus is divided into four parts that are given below:
  1. English
  2. Quantitative Aptitude
  3. General Intelligence and Reasoning
  4. General Awareness
Each section contain 25 questions So total question will be 100.

1. English Language

English Section will comprise of the following topics that are given below:
  • Spot the Error
  • Fill in the blanks
  • Synonyms/Antonyms
  • Spelling Error
  • Idiom and Phrases
  • One word substitution
  • Improvement of sentence
  • Active voice/Passive voice
  • Direct and Indirect speech
  • Para Jumble
  • Cloze Test
  • Comprehension Passage

2. Quantitative Aptitude

Quantitative Aptitude section will comprise of the following topics that are given below
  • An arithmetic section will contain topics like Number system, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Hcf and Lcm, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, partnership, Time and Distance, Time and Work and Mixture and Allegation.
  • Basic Algebra like Surds, and Graph of Linear Equation.
  • Geometry Section will contain topics like Triangle, Circle and its Chord, Tangent, and angle subtended by chord of a circle
  • Mensuration Section will contain topics like Area and Volume of the Right circular cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemisphere, etc.
  • Trigonometry Ratio and Angles
  • Data Interpretation

3. General Intelligence And Reasoning

General Intelligence And Reasoning comprises following topics that are given below:
  • Analogy
  • Venn Diagram
  • Number Classification and Number series
  • Pattern folding and unfolding
  • Verbal Reasoning
  • Non-Verbal Reasoning
  • Coding-Decoding
  • Figural classification

4. General Awareness

General Awareness section will comprise the following topics that are given below
  • Indian history
  • Indian Polity
  • Geography
  • Economics and Current Affair
  • General Science 
  • Static GK
Note: There will no question of the Map, Graph, Diagrams and Statistical Data for those who are visually handicapped above 40% and above disability.

SSC CHSL Syllabus of Descriptive Paper

There is Descriptive paper containing Essay and a Letter in SSC CHSL Exam. You can start your exam with any of these.
  • 1 letter/Application of 50 Marks
  • 1 Essay of 50 marks.

Information: Minimum qualifying criterion is 33% marks but marks in this exam will be considered for preparing the final list of candidates.
