SSC CHSL 2017 Notification has been released by Staff Selection Commision. Aspirants who are waiting for SSC CHSL 2017 can now apply. The main Objective to conduct this exam is to full fill the various posts in departments under Staff Selection Commission. The minimum Qualification required for this exam is Secondary Level.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CHSL

Education Qualification

  •  Applicant should be +2 passed or equivalent
  •  For DEO (Data Entry Operator) applicant should be +2 passed with science stream with mathematics as a subject.

Age Limit

  • Applicant age should be in between 18 to 27 years as on 01 August 2017.
  • Applicant must not born before 02 August 1991 and not later than 01 August 2000.

Age Relaxation

  • 5 years upper Age Relaxation for SC/ST Candidates
  • 3 years upper Age Relaxation for SC/ST Candidates
  • 10 years upper Age relaxation for PWD Candidates

How to Apply

You can easily apply for this exam by following the steps given below:

Step 1: First of all visit Offical website of Staff Selection Commision.

Step 2: After that follow the following links Apply>> CHSL>> Click here to Apply.

Step 3: After that, you will reach on the Application form. The application form has two parts first one is Registration form and the Second one is Apply Part.

Step 4: Firstly, Register your self for this exam by clicking on New Registration. (During Registration Carefully note down Registration No. and Password.)

Step 5: Now fill the Apply Part by entering Registration No. and Password that was generated in Step 4.

Step 6: Make Payment and Print your Application form for future reference. (Note after Payment you are not able to edit your application form so fill carefully)

Note: Candidates are advised that during filling the form, please give your working Phone number and note down your Registration No. and Password for future reference.

Application Fees

The Application fees for this exam is Rs. 100/. Women candidates and SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex.S candidates are exempted from payment of fee

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2017

The CHSL examination has two exams Tier I and Tier II. Tier I which is objective in nature and Tier II which is descriptive in nature. Tier I is  Computer Based paper while Tier 2 is Pen Paper mode paper. For Tier-I candidate should have some basic knowledge of online examination.

100 Questions

Total 60 minutes will be given to the candidate for Tier 1 Examination. There are 25 Questions from each subject so the total question will be 100. Each question carries 2 marks then total marks will be 200 hundred.
Negative Marking
There will be 0.50 negative marks of each wrong question.

Tier II Examination

Tier-II paper will be a descriptive paper of 100 marks. Paper will be conducted offline. Tier -II exam will have two questions. One will be an essay writing of 100-200 words and another one will be letter writing of 150-200 words. Duration of the exam will be 1 hour (extra 20 minutes will be given to PWD candidates). The candidates have to secure 33% marks to clear the exam. Candidates can write the paper in their own choice of language i.e. English or Hindi
Note: Candidates who will use both languages in the paper will be disqualified.

Tier III Examination

Tier 3 Examination would be qualifying in nature and it is a Skill/Typing Test for candidates who will qualify Tier-I and Tier-II examinations.
